ConnectSafely’s new ‘A Parents’ Guide to Mobile Phones’
We are pleased to say that we have now developed a partnership with ConnectSafely.org, an excellent resource for keeping kids safe online. Connect Safely has many excellent guides for parents and educators and they have just released ‘A Parents' Guide to Mobile Phones.' This is a very timely resource, given that a year ago more than a third (37%) of US 12-to-17-year-olds had smartphones, up from 23% in 2011, and a whopping 78% had some kind of mobile phone. That's from the Pew Internet Project.
