Parents and Social Media
Pew Research Center reports that about 75% of parents rely on social media to find information and social support in parenting issues they are dealing with. This report documents the variety of ways parents use social media in their lives – in many cases for the purpose of receiving or offering support. This report also measures which social media platforms parents are using and how parents construct their networks of connections on those networks. And, finally, the report takes a deeper dive into parents’ use of Facebook, the most widely used social media platform.
